Healed of Eating Disorder

Hello Guy and Ilke!

We were so blessed by your presence last weekend!  Everyone is still talking about the outpouring.  I wanted to give you a praise report as well.  You may remember the challenges that our son Jeremy has faced.  He has been having difficulty eating table food, because he has a severe gag reflex.  We have to puree his food, or give him baby food. With his increased appetite, it has gotten more and more difficult to satisfy him.  He also shows some signs of sensory intergration problems, which causes him to gag with certain textures of foods.  We have been praying over him and believing God that he would be healed, and be able to eat normally.

On Friday night, whileyou werepraying for the children, our son Jeremy was asleep in the Pastor's study.  After the service, one of the elders reminded me to go get Jeremy so that you could lay hands on him, too.  I woke him up, and took him to Ilke.  She prayed over him, and he actually sat still.  On Monday, he ate a WHOLE slice of cheese pizza and green beans, and he only gagged once!  Ever since then, he has been wanting to eat what we eat, and the gagging has all but gone away.  Praise God! This is a major blessing for us! We have been waiting on God to answer, and He answered big time!  Every day Jeremy is trying new foods and not gagging! He is even trying foods that normally he would not touch because of the texture! 

We are so thankful! God is our Healer! God is ABLE!
